Temple Baptisms

Rick and I took Kendal & Cole, along with 18 other youth from our ward to do baptisms for the dead at the Sacramento Temple. It was a neat experience seeing Kendal and Cole be baptized for and behalf of some of our Thompson ancestors. Mimi brought pictures and it was even more special to put faces with the names. Rick remembers great-grandpa Lamb (g-ma Fran's dad) and in fact is in one of the pictures with him! Rick and I took their names and did their initiatories, at least I did! Rick meant for me to give them to those doing initiatories, NOT to do them myself, which I did. That was a new experience in itself. I loved it! We all went to In-N-Out afterward...the looks we got as 28 of us descended on the restaurant was amusing! Wonderful experience for all of us!

Haircut

I cut Chris' hair for the 1st time in many years...I don't think I did too bad of a job! It's hard to go from long to short, there's no previous outline to follow.

T.O.C.

Cole plays in the final championship game tonight for the Tournament of Champions in our district. There team won the last game 35-8 in only 4 innings-brutal! Here are pics from that game. Cole's team lost 10-1 on Monday, but cole played well and scored the only run for the team. He even played with only 1 contact in...his right contact had a wrinkle and was bugging him so he took it out! There was a Scout there to watch another kid on Cole's team, but left wanting Cole instead! All-Stars starts July 7th!

Carsyn & Cole

Carsyn wants to be Mimi! She luvs her glasses.
Cole had his eyes checked and is a little near- sighted...he got contacts on saturday and lost 1 of them on sunday! We drove ourselves crazy looking for it on the carpet, no such luck!

Cole's Birthday

Cole turned 12 this past week and received the priesthood on Sunday. It was wonderful to have Papa, Poppy, Uncle Bones (Lyle), and Uncle Lonnie there to take part in the ordinance and to be able to celebrate Father's Day with them. Mimi and Nana were also there to witness such a momentous event! My parents are cruising the Bahamas for 10 days, we missed them.

Graduations!

Carsyn and Cole both promoted from their current schools...Carsyn from pre-school, Cole from the 6th grade.I can't believe we have 2 kids in junior high, 1 in 3rd, and our baby in kindergarten.Time flies... don't blink, you'll miss it!I thought with the kids out of school, our schedule would slow down, no such luck, not yet anyway.
