Goofing Off

I guess the kids take after their Aunts! They love making faces and taking pictures of themselves when they're bored. Only a mother would love these faces!

Our Girls

Kendal is in leadership at Albiani Middle School, they put on 2 days of workshops for the incoming 7th graders of which Cole was one.

Making Stella Pretty

Carsyn took some pictures of Stella getting a grooming...it took me 1-1/2 hours to comb her out! She wanted to look nice for football practice! She was a real trooper, it is no fun having tangles ripped out of your hair!

Old Friend from Holland

Chris van Dam, a family friend(and an old fling of mine-as Rick likes to say), stopped by for the night. He is on a 4 week holiday, RV-ing thru the State of CA. He hasn't aged a bit in 18 years, unfortunately I have...BUT I do have 4 kids & 15 years of marriage to show for it! It was so much fun to catch up & reminisce about old times! The kids think its funny that I actually had boyfriends before their dad...Imagine that!

Caps WIN!

A rare treat to sit with Elena during a match.
Her personal cheering squad!

Carsyn was so excited, she fell thru the seat! We are the Champions!
What an exciting weekend! Caps won Friday night, so Elena got to see the view from our seats...of course this was after we sneaked in to the match late after a little shopping spree at Nordstrom Rack! Caps beat New York Buzz 24-20 in overtime, I cheered so much I lost my voice. It is always a bitter sweet ending... we get more sleep, but miss breakfast with Elena!! What will we do with ourselves now...Football! Tryouts begin Monday.

Girls' Camp!

Wilton Girls and Leaders...we were well represented!
We had a blast!

Kendal and a few of her bunk mates
Cheery even at 7:00 am!
Guess Who?

My YW dressed me up for YW Presidents Night!
Rick was "BishopRick" for Lonnie on Friday!

He drove 4 hours to be there for the girls

He loves his girls, he missed us too!

Caps Tennis Match

Elena's biggest Fans! We love the Caps! Chris and I were even interviewed for the Elk Grove Citizen...we gave glowing reviews of course! Chris informed the reporter that Anna Kournikova was not his favorite player...when asked who was, his said "Knowlesy and Elena"! Good answer Chris! We have spent the month of July holding court and cheering our team on! Rick and the boys stay until the light go off. Go Caps!

Baseball!

Cole loved having everyone out to support him! Their team made it to the Championship game but lost to a team that was undefeated. I was at Girl's camp, but was told Cole played well! He scored the only run, caught fly balls, and pitched...what more can you ask for! Even Caps Tennis Player, Elena made it to a game. We're very proud of Cole!

Lake Tahoe

The kids and I enjoyed a few days getting some relief from the heat (105) and from reality! We felt bad that Rick was working and Cole had baseball practice...we tried not having a good time, can you tell!

All-Stars Baseball

We had fun watching cole pitch a game where he didn't walk anyone and no one got on base! He also was 3 for 3 at bat which he switch hitted. They won 20-2 after getting hammered in the first game.
