Silver Lake

We spent the extended Labor Day weekend at Silver Lake with Mimi, Papa, and the Ferguson clan! We had a wonderful time "roughing" it; propane lighting and a generator:) the cabin was one of Rick's Grandpa Doug's greatest joys! We hiked 2 miles up to Granite Lake-Carsyn, Jane, & Jack were troopers!! The guys took Nicole & I on a canoe ride across the lake, it was a smooth ride until my 2 boys come around the point on the Sea-Doos...I'll never forget that mischievious look on Chris' face! We all started screaming "NO", but luckily he just made some waves; Cole on the other hand flooded the canoe!! Poor Rick had on the last of his clean/dry clothes! We all had a good laugh, but things would have been quite different if he had tipped us over...we would have had to swim to shore!! I love making memories with the family.

Back to School

Yes, I know my kids started school August 17th, but better late than never:}

Kendal~Sophomore, 15 1/2 *has driver's permit! Get off the road!!

Cole~Freshman, 14 *plays strong safety, defensive back #32

Chris~4th grade, 9 3/4 *plays on the defensive line #2

Carsyn~2nd grade, 6 3/4 *Children's Chorus newest star!


Spend most of my time carting kids to and from school, football practice, dance/vocal lessons, and Galena! Spend the rest of my time doing laundry, and preparing meals on the go!!

Loved spending the week with everyone, but missed Jenny, wyatt, Crew, Hudson, Jess, Dallas, & baby Lucy:(

Kendal finally got her braces off ! They look beautiful...and should for as much as they cost! Her cousins will make sure to keep the boys away!!

Happy 40th Birthday Rick! You may not have as much time to play and you definitely have less hair and more body mass, but look what you have accomplished! I am so proud of you!! You are my 'Lovebug' for life!
