Carsyn had her Kindergarten Rodeo today at school. I couldn't find her cowgirl outfit so we had to improvise...she still looked adorable anyway! she had no problem rounding up a couple of handsome cowboys!!!

Harley Davidson Dealership

Rick is finally done with the 50,000 sq. foot dealership he has been supervising for the past 8 months...it is impressive! He's good!!!

Park City Olympic Park

We spent Sunday morning at the Olympic Museum for the 2002 Winter Games. It was so interesting...we even got to watch people going off the ski jumps into a huge pool of water! It was nice to do something before the grueling 9+ hr drive home...the kids were the best they have ever been! Glad to be home safely.

Jessi & Dallas Tie the Knot

We travelled to Utah this weekend for the last of the Thompson sisters to get hitched! We had a great time...it was a little sad knowing Kendal could very easily be the next Thompson to get married, Yikes! She looked beautiful as you can see and Carsyn is especially happy to have a new Uncle! Everything was perfect except the weather but it didn't slow any of us down. After the reception, we all went to Rick's cousins "Haunted Forest" to scare the pageegees out of us...I was even brave enough to go. Okay, so I hid behind Rick the entire time and kept pushing Cole in front of me as he struggled for protection as well. It was fun catching up with old friends and cousins we haven't seen in a while.

Football Saturday!

Cole and Chris both had excellent games, they lost, but played well. 2 of the kids playing against Cole were 250 pounds & over 6'. EMT had to come onto the field twice for Cole cause he was down...scary for his Mom & Mimi who watched from the bleachers! Chris tried to tackle a "huge" opponent and bounced off him like he was a fly...that was funny! Good effort boys!

State Fair!

Kendal performed at the State Fair with Galena, she did great job! Carsyn & Chris were not sure they liked the nursery filled with animals...maybe they are not cut out for "country" life after all...but Chris did like the chickens and Carsyn warmed up a little too. Great Labor Day!!

Tahoe

My mom and I took Cole, Chris, & Carsyn to Tahoe for the 3 day weekend...we had lots of fun! We spent the entire day at the beach soaking in the lake, reading books, making sandcastles, and playing at the playground! We also went exploring and did waxing treatments on our hands (per Cole's request). Rick and my Dad stayed home to work around the houses...Kendal stayed home to spend time with her Dad!

School is in!

The kids had a great first day of school! Cole started Jr. High, Carsyn started Kindergarten, Chris is in 2nd, and Kendal is a BIG 8th grader! I can't believe all 4 of our children are in school...time flies. Here are some pictures from the 2nd day of school...the ones I took yesterday, I can't get off the sd card. All is good in the Thompson World, a little more crazy than before, but happy nonetheless.
